STEP 11 – SOOTHING BLEND RUB

We’ve all experienced that after-workout soreness. It can feel great to know you’ve worked your body, strengthened your muscles, and improved your endurance. But often, post-workout discomfort isn’t so much fun.

But here’s the good news: in addition to the five oils we’ve talked about, the Athlete’s Kit comes with the SOOTHING BLEND RUB. This is the lotion version of the popular SOOTHING Essential Oil BLEND, which contains Wintergreen, Camphor, Peppermint, Ylang Ylang, Helichrysum, Blue Tansy, Blue Chamomile, and Osmanthus.

This blend provides a warming and cooling sensation to muscles and joints. It soothes and comforts areas you’ve worked hard during exercise. It’s non-greasy and leaves your skin feeling moisturized.

SOOTHING BLEND RUB makes a great massage lotion. Bring it to your masseuse the next time you get a deep tissue massage. It’s recommended by massage therapists and sports practitioners.

PRACTICAL USES

•  Massage into lower back after a day of heavy lifting.

•  Apply to feet and knees before and after exercise.

•  Apply to sore muscles and joints after exercise.

CAUTIONS: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use on wounds or damaged skin. Do not bandage tightly after application or use with a heating pad. Keep out of reach of children to avoid accidental ingestion. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
